09/01/10 – ERC Wins Missile Defense Agency’s MiDAESS Contract

Huntsville, AL, September 1, 2010 – ERC, Inc., a Huntsville, AL-based Small Business, has been awarded one of five contracts in the Full and Open Engineering Support Capability Group of the Missile Defense Agency’s MDA Engineering and Support Services (MiDAESS) Program.  The MiDAESS Program Office will use a series of functionally oriented support contracts to obtain the Agency’s Acquisition and Advisory Services (A&AS).  Each of the five contracts awarded in the Full and Open Engineering Support Capability Group has a not-to-exceed ordering ceiling of $1,618,900,000 and has a performance period through August, 2015.  Work under these contracts will be performed in Huntsville, AL; Colorado Springs, CO; Vandenberg, CA; and Washington, DC.

Of the five contract awardees, ERC is the only SBA-certified Small Business, only privately-held company, and only firm with their parent company headquarters located in Huntsville, the contract’s primary work location.
